Outdoor hospitality design at a beachfront property must resolve two competing demands: the operational rigour of a working hotel and the effortless atmosphere a premium guest expects. At Tasia Maris Beach Hotel & Spa, an adults-only property on Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa, the brief centred on exactly that tension, with the added complexity of optimising the relationship between the pool area and the adjacent restaurant and cafeteria.
Currently in progress, the design integrates a pool bar directly into the water's edge, keeping service close to the guest without disrupting the terrace. Circulation between the pool and restaurant has been rethought to reduce congestion and create a more natural transition between the two areas. Louvered pergola structures provide shade and define the sun deck while keeping the connection to the beach open. The visuals presented here are early-stage clay renders, reflecting the first iteration of the design vision as the material palette and finish specifications continue to be developed to sit comfortably within the Mediterranean setting.
