This project was never about creating another polished hotel in Ayia Napa. The vision was to capture the raw luxury of the Mediterranean coast through a high-contrast architectural lens, drawing on the tactile richness of Moroccan craft and the sun-bleached geometry of Mediterranean architecture to create something that felt both ancient and sharply contemporary. In close partnership with a local studio, we grounded eight ultra-luxury junior suites through organic whitewash forms, hand-carved textures, and custom timber millwork, while collaborating with Cypriot artists to commission site-specific works that serve as the emotional pulse of the retreat, ensuring it feels rooted rather than imported.
The suites were engineered for effortless living, with anatomical bedding systems and custom automation consoles that dissolve into the architecture, allowing technology to serve the guest without disrupting the visual calm. The result is a retreat defined not by abundance but by intention, where the weight of local stone and the warmth of artisanal detail leave you certain that this is exactly what the Mediterranean was always meant to feel like.
